My Writing Challenges
My writing challenges would be writing about a subject or something I completely don't like or something that doesn't catch my attention. I think it would be a lot easier if teachers would let us chose our own topic and tell our own story the way we want the readers to read it. Grammar and spelling is also a great issue when I write my essays. Also running out of ideas on a subject I have no interest an it sucks! Also gets hard writing different because I'm so used to writing in slag as text messaging form and have to adjust to professional writing. All in all, teachers need to assign more fun topics.

Well Mr. Mendez if you want to make all that money you best drop that slang nonsense or just become a Ecdysiast. However I agree with your complaints, for I don't like doing boring subjects too.

DeleteI agree with you that if the subject I am writing about does not interest me or catch my attention I wont be able to write about it. we have the same problem when it comes to writing.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you Saul coming up with ideas on a boring subject is difficult. Grammar can be an issue if your doing your writing last minute.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Saul because it is hard to come up with more ideas when your writing. Grammar is on of the biggest this people of trouble with when they're writing. ( your the scandal one here okay )
ReplyDeleteSaul, thank you for using proper grammar and less slang! Since the business world expects more from their employees, then so must I. I understand you and your fellow classmates' frustration about not having a lot of choice when it comes to writing. I guess the problem is that the state of California has educational standards that its teachers must adhere to. At least there are forums such as the social media and blog sites where individuals can truly write about what they "want". As for now, I will make as much effort to give you some personal choices on your topics, so that is why you have five to six ideas to select from, because if I don't give an array of ideas, there will be students who won't do the assignment because they don't want to pick a topic of their own!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Saul but I think it is much better when you don't use your own topic. It is true you don't need to think much and know what to say. The reason is because you are repeating yourself with different vocabulary words. I think it is better that we can use new topics.
